About the Handling of Personal Information Provided to Our Company
Quintegral Ltd. (hereinafter the “Company”) recognizes that protecting personal information is a top priority issue as a responsible company involved in educational services, and in order to practice it, the Company has established the Personal Information Protection Policy. In accordance with this policy, all employees will make efforts to properly handle and manage personal information and make improvements. In response to the Personal Information Protection Law which came into effect in April 2005, the Company complies with JIS Q 15001 as well as guidelines and other standards prescribed by law/the nation concerning personal information protection and has established the Personal Information Protection Policy so that the Company can continue to be a trusted business. The Company declares to establish, implement, maintain, and continuously improve a management system related to personal information protection in order for all employees to understand and carry out the policy to protect personal information.
In regard to appropriate protection and use of personal information, the Company complies with the items established in this policy in addition to guidelines and other standards prescribed by law/the nation in order to carefully protect all personal information, including the personal information of customers. Also, in order to appropriately respond to the development of computerization, the Company strives to continuously improve its personal information management system and related initiatives.
- Purpose of Use
The Company clarifies the purpose of use of acquired personal information and reports the purpose of use. In addition, the Company will use personal information that it has acquired within the scope necessary to realize the purpose of use, except when not permitted by law, etc. The Company will not use personal information outside the scope necessary to realize the purpose of use (use of information for the purpose other than established) and includes taking measures to prevent it.
- Acquisition of Personal Information in an Appropriate Manner
The Company acquires personal information in proper and just ways within the scope necessary to realize the purpose of use specified in Section 2 above.
- Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties
When it becomes necessary to provide personal information to a third party, the Company will comply with the personal information protection management system which is based on Personal Information Protection Management System requirements and will do so under strict control.
- Safety of Personal Information and Proper Management Measures
In addition to conducting education and awareness activities for employees, the Company provides management staff for each department that handles personal information and strives for the appropriate management of personal information by stipulating its handling. In addition, the Company will strive to prevent and rectify illegal access, loss, destruction, tampering, leakage, ruining, or damage of personal information by taking reasonable technical measures regarding personal information managed by the Company.
When personal information managed by the Company is entrusted to an outsourcing company, the Company will also supervise that company appropriately.
- Disclosure Requests
The Company will respond appropriately to the procedures, complaints, and consultations related to disclosure requests, etc. prescribed by law. If you wish to have your own information disclosed, we will reply to such request within a reasonable period and scope after confirming your identity.
