Business Discussions in a Global Environment
Course Summary
Have you ever thought like; “Because I cannot fully understand what my non-Japanese colleagues say, our discussions always end up disjointed and unproductive.”
Many of us face “the English issue” while working in the global business environment. However, this is NOT only a language problem ーbut a situation that arises from a personal sense of embarrassment or lack of self-confidence . . . from our cultural attitudes toward others ーor, simply, from a lack of experience with the diversity created by a global marketplace.
In this course you will clarify your challenges, and work through several activities which will help you develop practical skills to converse confidently and productively with non-Japanese people.
